Why should I use Kodo and not my personal card for business expenses?

Instead of Personal Cards for Business Expenses

Kodo cards are issued in the name of your company, with repayments made directly from your company’s account. This eliminates the stress of getting reimbursements every month or before the end of the accounting year. From an accounting and tax perspective, it’s prudent to keep personal and business expenses separate, avoiding the hassle of proving that reimbursement amounts received in personal accounts are not taxable salaries.

Why should I use Kodo and not my company debit card for business expenses?

A debit card gives anyone carrying it access to the entire cash balance in your company’s bank account, which is why you typically need to make a special request to get a debit card when opening your company’s bank account. Kodo cards provide additional security, personalized control over card spends, and visibility into how your company money is being used. Additionally, debit cards cannot be issued to multiple team members. Kodo allows you to issue multiple cards with set spend limits and monitor them in real-time using its integrated expense management tool.

Who is eligible to use Kodo?

Kodo cards are for business expenses. Any kind of business setup registered in India is eligible for Kodo, including Private Limited Companies, LLP/Partnership firms, and Sole Proprietorships.
